Facility Specifications

The Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts is a 1503 seat performing arts venue capable of housing large scale music and theatrical productions as well as intimate acoustic presentations, guest lectures and movies.

The main floor is comprised of continental rake seating housing 22 rows for approximately 1070 guests, including 26 box seats and 8 designated handicap locations. The balcony holds seating for 433 guests, including 36 box seats. All balcony seating is stadium-style with a step down/up per row.

House Courtesy for Seating

It is the policy of the theatre to open the house one hour prior to curtain time. This time is subject to change according to artist’s needs and requirements.

Patrons arriving late will be seated at the discretion of the management in the closest seats available near entrances. All performances begin promptly at the designated show time.

Each guest must present a ticket before entering the theatre.  No outside food or drinks allowed. For safety & security purposes, all bags/ items are subject to a search by proper authorities and/or management.

 

Ticket Cancelation Policy

Once a ticket purchase is complete, no refunds are available with the exception of a cancelled performance. Exchanges may be made for a future event that is currently on sale. The exchange must take place seven days prior to the event to which tickets are currently held.

The Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts reserves the right to possibly make changes or substitutions to events due to unforeseen circumstances. All patrons currently holding tickets for such events will be notified once the change has been announced.

 

Third Party Ticket Brokers

The Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts does not use or endorse third-party ticket brokers.  Event seats, ticket prices and purchases can only be guaranteed when bought through the SMCPA box office or official theatre website.
