Coming out of south Georgia in 1981, NewSong was a ninemember church band. Through the years and the changes in the group, one thing remains the same: the best in Christian popular music. With 17 No.1 singles, six Dove Awards, and five of the Top 100 Christian radio singles in the past 10 years, NewSong continues to be one of the most popular groups on tour. Among their best-known songs are "Arise My Love," "Jesus to the World," and "The Christmas Shoes." NewSong has a touring ministry and has started "jam event" tours that bring the top Christian artists together for evening concerts. |
