When a boy receives a Velveteen Rabbit for Christmas, the toy soon becomes his most prized possession and best friend, much to the chagrins of the other toys in the nursery. As times passes, the stuffed rabbit learns about the magic of friendship, the pain of loss, and the inevitable truth of growing older.
